Five of Manchester United’s World Cup stars returned to their starting XI for Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup clash against Burnley.
It’s United’s first game since the conclusion of the World Cup and a number of high profile squad members have been selected by manager Erik ten Hag.
Bruno Fernandes captains the side while Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Marcus Rashford and Tyrell Malacia have also returned from Qatar to feature.
Anthony Martial features in attack alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Rashford, while there is a space between the sticks for Martin Dubravka and spots for Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in defence. Scott McTominay completes the XI.
Regular goalkeeper David de Gea is on the bench, where he is joined by the likes of Luke Shaw, Fred, Donny Van de Beek and Antony.
