But how did the actor play a younger version of himself? Keep reading to find out.
Hollywood actor Will Smith plays the character of Henry Brogan, an elite assassin who loses interest in his job and retires after a job goes wrong.
His character is then hunted by a young assassin, whose name is Junior, and has an uncanny resemblance to Henry’s younger self.
Within the first three days of release, Gemini Man earned $20.5 million. As reported by Box Office Mojo, the hit movie made $173.5 million gross worldwide from a $138 million budget.
Despite Will’s popularity, the movie didn’t make as much revenue as they had hoped compared to his other films like Bad Boys and Men In Black.
Interestingly, Will played both roles of his character. Henry and Junior’s characters are both interpreted by Will – but how did they manage to make Will look 25 years younger?
The film’s director was said to have used cutting-edge special effects, allowing him to manipulate the actor’s appearance and making him as young as his Fresh Prince days.
According to iNews, Weta Studios used de-aging effects, which have been previously used for films like lord of The Rings.
