Lisa Marie Presley died on Thursday at the age of 54, just days after celebrating Elvis’ birthday at his legendary home, Graceland.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of the King Of Rock Elvis, died on Thursday, her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed. She was 54 years old.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” the statement reads. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Priscilla, 77, announced on Instagram that her daughter was “rushed to the hospital” earlier that day and was “receiving the best care.”
TMZ first reported the news, claiming Lisa Marie was suffering from a possible cardiac arrest.
The late singer inherited her father’s sprawling Graceland estate when she turned 25 years old in 1993. Graceland will likely be passed on to her three children: daughters Riley Keough, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.
Graceland served as her childhood home, which Lisa Marie visited just four days before her death to celebrate Elvis’ 88th birthday.

Her last two public appearances were at the Golden Globes on Tuesday, where Austin Butler won his first award for his Elvis portrayal, and at Graceland on Monday to celebrate what would’ve been the rock ‘n roll legend’s 88th birthday.
She thanked the loyal crowd for their enthusiastic support, before mentioning that she only leaves the house for the fans.
“I keep saying you’re the only people that can bring me out of my house,” she quipped before adding, “I’m not kidding.”

Graceland reportedly rakes in about $15 million since it opened its doors to fans in 1982, as per Parade, but the mansion is more than a tourist attraction to Lisa Marie.
Although her parents divorced when she was just five years old, the singer frequently spent time at Graceland, Elvis’ Memphis home.
“I’m always happy when I’m here,” Lisa Marie recalled to Today during Elvis Week 2012. “It always reminds me of when I was the happiest, I think, in my life. It always brings me right there when I come back.”
When her father died in 1977, nine-year-old Presley became joint heir to his estate with her grandfather, Vernon Presley, and her great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Hood Presley. She became the sole heir upon their death in 1979 and 1980, respectively. It was worth about $55 million in 2021, a massive increase from $5 million in 1977.
Priscilla similarly reflected on her ex-husband’s everlasting presence. “This home was so much a part of him,” she explained. “His presence is all over, going into each room. Sitting and talking, playing the piano, lots of laughs. Sometimes I hear laughter.”
