The Air Jordan 12 is one of the most underappreciated Jumpman shoes ever made. Overall, this was a popular sneaker in the late 1990s. Furthermore, it is the silhouette in which Michael Jordan won his fifth championship.
Most importantly, it is the sneaker that was used to commemorate the historic “Flu Game.” That being said, it should come as no surprise that Jordan Brand continues to promote this shoe. In fact, the sneaker has had a recent rebirth, giving Jumpman even more reason to embrace it.
Throughout 2023, sneakerheads and casual consumers can expect the Air Jordan 12 to drop in a plethora of colorways. Over these past few weeks, we have seen plenty of teasers for what Jumpman has in store. Overall, these colorways have been extremely intriguing. Furthermore, there have been rumblings of a very special retro that fans will adore. After all, nothing helps build up positive nostalgia more than some retro colorways. The retro in question is the Air Jordan 12 “Cherry.”

This news comes to us from none other than the Instagram sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz. The insider has been reporting on this retro for a while now, and it seems like a new release date has been announced. Firstly, in regard to the colorway, we have a white leather base and some white laces. Secondly, there is a large leather strip on the sides that also extends down to the outsole. Lastly, there is a strip of black on the back heel to add a bit of contrast. Overall, these elements come together quite beautifully.
As for the aforementioned new release date, these are set to drop on November 25th for $210 USD. However, it should be noted that this is just a rumor. Jumpman could very well change this as they begin to confirm the details of their Holiday 2023 lineup. Either way, you cannot go wrong with such an amazing retro that stays true to the OG.
