We’ve already seen a ton of Galaxy S23 series leaks and teases, and one claimed upgrade teased by Samsung is that we’ll see much better low-light photography.

It’s difficult to conclusively say whether the Galaxy S23 Ultra offers a huge upgrade to low-light photography. After all, we’ll need to see high-resolution images rather than compressed pictures uploaded to Twitter. We’d also need to see comparisons to the S22 series to figure out just how big a leap we’re looking at.

Nevertheless, you’ll definitely notice a major increase in brightness and reduction in noise in the night mode shot versus the standard photo (if the latter isn’t merely under-exposed). So it looks like Samsung is on the right track here. We’ll find out more on February 1 when Samsung holds its Unpacked event.

Are you impressed with these leaked S23 Ultra night snaps?
